God is an astronaut是一支來自愛爾蘭首都都柏林的后搖團(tuán)體，風(fēng)格是吉他為主的器樂后搖。樂隊(duì)是2002年由兩兄弟Niels 和Torsten還有他們的朋友Lloyd三人行而成的。他們的音樂清澈而具有質(zhì)感，旋律優(yōu)美卻多愁善感，并且運(yùn)用大量美妙的電子聲效。2002年成立，2003年3月在他們自己成立的廠牌Revive Records發(fā)表了第一張專輯《The End of the Beginning》。2005.2第二張專輯《All is Violent，All is Bright》依然在Revive Records下發(fā)表。God is An Astronaut在采訪中形容他們的音樂是“Electronic，chill out synthisised rock ”，這是由于他們受主流搖滾的影響同時又喜歡The Chemical Brothers（著名Synth pop樂隊(duì)），而將兩者合而為一的產(chǎn)物。
