富蘭克林．J．沙夫納導(dǎo)演，描述一名納粹軍官于戰(zhàn)后匿藏于南美洲，他野心勃勃地希望以科學(xué)方法進(jìn)行人種實(shí)驗(yàn)，以便東山再起，使納粹黨重振雄風(fēng)。但有一名猶太人以緝捕納粹余孽為其終生職志，于是雙方展開一場(chǎng)驚心動(dòng)魄的斗智斗力。是頗有格調(diào)的間諜懸疑片，氣氛處理甚佳。格利高里．派克首次轉(zhuǎn)演反派角色，與勞倫斯．奧立弗有旗鼓相當(dāng)?shù)木恃莩觥?

這可是1978年的老電影,曾經(jīng)在1978年電影上映之初,發(fā)行方曾經(jīng)發(fā)行過磁帶版,包括PROMO版,但是插曲較少.這次2008年再版,可惜敬愛的Jerry Goldsmith老先生已經(jīng)過世后才出版發(fā)行,聽起來實(shí)在有些回味無窮.原聲配樂分為兩張CD,配樂方面,樂器采用大號(hào)為主旋律.但是所走的路線基本以圓舞曲的曲風(fēng)為主機(jī)調(diào).
