從目前放出的消息和截圖來看，《塵埃3》還是保持了系列的高水準，游戲無論在畫面和內容方面都有了全新的進化，在畫面方面，泥漿漸漸沾染車體的設定依然保存，車模的精細程度大大強化了，畫面也不再像前兩代一樣偏黃，新加入的雪地、山林賽道也有相對獨特的視覺效果。在游戲性方面，本作將會有6條head-to-head賽道和32條拉力賽道，芬蘭、肯尼亞、挪威、密歇根這幾個地點都會在游戲中出現，剛才提到的雪地、山林賽道也會給玩家帶來全新的游戲體驗，福特嘉年華、福特福克斯WRC和雪鐵龍C4也會作為新車加入到游戲中，玩家現在不但可以選擇賽車，還可以選擇自己的副駕駛，相信不同的副駕駛也會給玩家帶來完全不同的影響。
