Mary ends the movie perfectly. A very difficult story to watch that is filled with Oscar caliber performances from Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Allen Howard and Emma Stone. It is hard to praise a movie that courageously tries to take on a topic filled with nuances for human and racial relations. "The Living Proof" is not a catchy melodic song. Instead it is a studied heartfelt performance demanding the listener to embrace the lyrics. Oscar nominated performances will also be joined by an Oscar winning theme song. So clear your mantle for you are taking home an Oscar.
