曾經被美國《人物》雜志評為“全球五十大美男子”之一的克里斯·波提(Chris Botti)以俊秀的外型和高超的技巧被廣大樂迷所追捧。美國著名音樂人大衛·福斯特(David Foster)推崇他的演奏具有邁爾斯·戴維斯(Miles Davis)的特色與切特·貝克(Chet Baker)的性感。  　　克里斯·波提(Chris Botti)，小號手，1962年10月12日生于美國俄勒岡州的波特蘭，隸屬于哥倫比亞唱片公司。Chris Botti可能不僅僅在爵士領域，而在美國所有年輕一代器樂演奏的音樂家當中長相都算是最好的了。但是他的成功絕大部分還是因為他在音樂方面的成就，在2001年克里斯·波提發行的唱片《Night Sessions》的銷量超過百萬，在其中Botti將爵士樂和流行音樂兩種風格融合在一起，從而創造出一個新的音樂流派。 2007年12月4日，他被提名3個格萊美獎，包括最佳流行演奏專輯和最佳長篇音樂錄影帶。他的三張專輯到過Billboard爵士專輯榜的榜首。
