The Illusionist is the new animated feature by Sylvain Chomet who directed the famous The Triplets of Belleville (2003), a hit in the USA. The Illusionist details the story of a dying breed of stage entertainer whose thunder is being stolen by emerging rock stars. Forced to accept obscure assignments in fringe theaters, garden parties and bars, he meets a young fan who changes his life forever. This wonderful animated film features a beautiful score by Sylvain Chomet and rock songs by the Britoons.
